2004 Veraison, Synchrony, Stagecoach Vineyard

Sourced from the same block as the Franc, Synchrony is 60% Cabernet Franc, 38% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% each Merlot and Malbec. The Sauvignon is the See Clone, one of the most prominent clones for the varietal found on the property. The laborious harvest lasted nearly a month with multiple passes to ensure perfect ripeness. 3.2 tons/acre resulted from one cluster per shoot viticulture. A nose of toasty graphite, black cherry, cassis and spicy, cigar box aromas. The palate is nicely formed with mocha, ripe berry and black stone fruit. Juicy and smooth on the finish.
